Mission Statement:

Words For The Temple (WFTT) exists to empower new and maturing believers to build their lives according to God’s Word by following the example of Jesus Christ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

The Heart of the Ministry:

We affirm that every believer needs to receive the Holy Spirit and that water baptism is an external sign of an inward belief in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. [Matthew 28:19; John 3:5; Acts 10:44-48]

We affirm that the Church is the body of Christ; made up of members each given gifts from the Holy Spirit who are responsible for supporting and correcting one another in love as well as spreading the Gospel to all nations. [Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Ephesians 4:1-16]

We affirm that the Holy Bible is the authoritative inspired word of God and is useful for helping believers to live in accordance with God’s will. [2 Timothy 3:16-17]

We affirm the necessity of maintaining the integrity of our spiritual foundation through belief in Christ Jesus as the only way of salvation. [John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5-6]

We affirm that Jesus is the Son of God (The Messiah) who was born of a virgin, walked the earth as a human being, died on a cross for our sins, was buried, raised from the dead on the third day and later ascended to heaven, where He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding on our behalf. [Matthew 1:18-24; Mark 16:19; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 3:1]
