It is in the waiting that many of life's most perplexing questions rise to the surface in our minds. In these moments, it is important to keep our focus on the promise(s) revealed to us by God.
Our obedience speaks well of the Lord. It lets Him know that we trust Him and it shows others what living in fellowship with Him looks like.
God will not ask anything of us that He is unwilling to do Himself. When we are obedient to Him, He expresses His gratitude through blessing us. In other words, our obedience unleashes God's blessings.
Abraham found his provision in the presence of the Lord. He sought and maintained a relationship with God, making an intentional effort to worship God as He desired. It was in the midst of Abraham's worship that he found what he needed.
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were asked to make a decision that felt like you were relinquishing something you love? A part of yourself or your life you felt was intrinsic, inseparable even? Well, that is the kind of situation we’re focusing on in today’s post. 
Earlier this week we covered the topic of finding your place. That can be a daunting experience, especially if we allow ourselves to become overwhelmed with the idea of getting in place based on our personal timeline. Instead, God wants us to focus our attention on the right thing, our relationship with Him.
